Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is more commonly popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. The stage name he uses is the namesake of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. He signed a contract for joint-recording with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. Rodeo (2015), his debut studio album included the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott came out with an album with a name of Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the name Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was received acclaim by critics. The album also produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within one year.
